These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the “GTC”) are intended to define the conditions under which SARL MAISON Olivier Chanzy, whose registered office is located at 8 rue de Mazeray, 21190 Meursault – France, markets its wines to professional and private customers.
The website has an exclusively informative and institutional purpose. No wine sales are carried out directly online.
These GTC apply to all wine sales concluded offline (by email, telephone, quotation, purchase order or any other direct means), unless specific conditions are expressly agreed in writing between the parties.
Any order implies the customer’s full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.
The products offered for sale are wines produced and marketed by Maison Olivier Chanzy.
The essential characteristics of the wines (appellation, vintage, grape varieties, production conditions) are communicated to the customer prior to the order. Visuals, descriptions and information appearing on the website are non-contractual.
Orders are placed directly with Maison Olivier Chanzy, electronically or by any other means agreed between the parties.
An order shall be deemed firm and final only after written confirmation by Maison Olivier Chanzy (signed quotation or accepted purchase order).
Product prices are expressed in euros, exclusive of taxes (excl. VAT), ex-cellar, unless otherwise stated.
The applicable prices are those in force on the date of order confirmation. Prices do not include transport costs, which are specified to the customer at the time of ordering.
Payment terms (bank transfer, payment schedule, specific conditions) are defined at the time of ordering or on the corresponding invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable upon receipt. Any late payment may give rise to the application of penalties in accordance with applicable legislation.
Delivery conditions and timeframes are defined at the time of ordering.
Maison Olivier Chanzy cannot be held liable for delays or damage attributable to the carrier. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the condition of the goods upon receipt and to make any necessary reservations with the carrier.
The wines remain the property of Maison Olivier Chanzy until full payment of the price has been received.
In accordance with applicable legislation, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the sale of alcoholic beverages when delivery is deferred beyond thirty days and whose value depends on market fluctuations.
Specific applicable conditions are communicated to the customer at the time of ordering.
Maison Olivier Chanzy cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use or consumption of the products sold.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for health. Wines are intended for customers of legal drinking age. The customer undertakes to comply with the regulations in force in the country of destination.
Personal data collected in the context of commercial relations are processed in accordance with applicable regulations and are used solely for order management and customer relations.

These GTC are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the parties shall endeavour to seek an amicable solution before initiating any legal action. Failing this, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
