Olivier Chanzy

A path shaped by vine and wine

Born into a family of winemakers, Olivier Chanzy began his career at the family estate in Bouzeron, where he spent nearly ten years working alongside his parents, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. This formative immersion forged a demanding vision of the profession, rooted in transmission and mastery of the craft.

In 2008, following the sale of the family estate, Olivier Chanzy chose to broaden his experience. He took over the management of an estate in the Southern Rhône Valley, which he ran for five years. This period allowed him to vinify other grape varieties, explore different viticultural practices, and enrich his approach through a comparative reading of terroirs.

A historic site in Meursault

In 2013, Olivier Chanzy returned to Burgundy and acquired his own winery in Meursault.

Housed in a former 18th-century mill, bordered by the Clous stream, the building was converted into a wine estate during the 20th century. The cellar and winery were designed to allow gravity-fed vinification, minimizing mechanical intervention and preserving the integrity of the wines. Following extensive renovation works to bring the buildings up to standard, along with significant investment in winemaking equipment, Olivier now vinifies and ages his wines in this site steeped in history.

Our wines

Wines rooted in their terroirs

Today, Olivier Chanzy vinifies around a dozen Burgundy appellations, both white and red, with constant attention to the expression of each climat and to overall balance. This wine range is naturally complemented by a Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc Brut.

True to his journey, he maintains a strong link with the Rhône Valley through a range of three crus, complemented by an IGP Méditerranée rosé.

This selection is further enhanced by an emblematic cuvée : Le Mouflon, a 100% semi-dry sparkling Muscat, the signature of a free yet controlled style.
